AI Data Usage Policy

1. Overview

VibeDesigner uses artificial intelligence to power the AI Preview feature, which generates design specifications based on your inputs. This policy explains how your data is handled when you interact with AI-powered features within our platform.

2. AI Provider

Our AI Preview feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you use AI Preview, your design prompts and relevant context are sent to Anthropic's API for real-time processing. No other AI providers are used.

3. Your Data Is Not Stored by AI Providers

Your designs, prompts, and generated outputs are NOT stored, retained, or logged by Anthropic or any third-party AI provider. Data is processed in real-time to generate your design specification and is not persisted on the AI provider's servers beyond the duration of the request.

4. Your Data Is Not Used for AI Training

Your inputs and outputs are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. We use Anthropic's API with zero-retention data processing, meaning your content is not included in any training datasets. Your creative work remains entirely yours.

5. What Data We Store

VibeDesigner stores the following data on our infrastructure (Supabase, hosted on AWS): account information (name, email, profile data), saved designs and their specifications, generation history and usage counts, subscription and billing status. This data is stored securely with row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data.

6. Data Transmitted to AI

When you use AI Preview, the following data may be sent to the AI provider: your design prompt or description, selected design parameters (colors, typography, layout preferences), and page type context. We do not send your personal account information, email address, or payment details to the AI provider.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete individual designs from your library, export your data from the settings page, request complete account deletion by contacting hello@vibedesigner.com, and opt out of AI features entirely by using only the manual design builder. Upon account deletion, all your personal data and saved designs are permanently removed within 30 days.

8. GDPR Compliance

VibeDesigner is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your data based on legitimate interest and consent. You have the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your personal data. Our data infrastructure is hosted in AWS EU-Central region. For GDPR-related requests, contact hello@vibedesigner.com.

9. Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Data at rest is encrypted on our database infrastructure. We conduct regular security reviews and follow industry best practices for data protection.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AI Data Usage Policy as our AI features evolve. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of AI features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
